Canyoneering is a blend of exploration; hiking, free climbing and rappelling down open canyons
or slot canyons. With rappels from 50 feet to over 100 ft in length – many of the Arizona routes
to the north are long, wooded and exhilarating.
With water so rare in most of Arizona, many are surprised at the number of wet canyons strewn throughout the state. Some, like Kelly Canyon in NW Arizona, have long corridors of freezing, dark water.
We support low impact excursions. From the southern granite canyons on Mount Lemmon south of Phoenix, to the Soft Sandstone Coconino Forests north of the Valley, Arizona is one of the best canyoneering destinations in the country and we are right in the middle of it all!

to decide their level of competency before any excursion. The use of quality tools by manufacturers in the industry is highly recommended.
